Picture of the Day - Wooden Plates

My goal this month is to take a daily picture of something that makes me smile.

These wooden plates are hung behind my bar in the living Room. They represent all the places in Europe I was fortunate to visit while I was stationed in the United Kingdom. These plates were never really hung up until we moved into this house. 

People ask me now that I am retired, Don't you want to travel and see the world? I let them know I was fortunate that while I was in the US Air Force, I was overseas for 17 of the 20 years I was in the military, and I got to visit Europe, Japan, South Korea, Iceland, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.
