In Honor of

Shelly Miller

Someone I affectionately call my Relay Wife, who has a lot of passion for helping the American Cancer Society and plays a mean game of pickleball.

When I joined the Las Vegas ELT several years ago, she helped me understand what we have to accomplish. I was fortunate to be a co-lead with her during the 2021 campaign.

She is a survivor of Cancer for 20+ years

In Memory of

Kazuharu Tanno

My brother-in-law.  Since my wife's father passed away before I met her, I had to ask his permission to marry my wife.  He was very dedicated to his family and worked hard to support them and his mother.

In Honor of

Cecilia Bridgewater

My sister. Probably the most loving lady I know.  You don't want her to hug you as it will hurt as she squeezes like her life depends on it.

She is a survivor of Breast Cancer

In Memory of

Anita Wiggins

Anita was a partner Supervisor while I worked at the UPS Call Center in UPS.  She always had a smile on her face and was up to playing pranks on our teams.

My two favorite memories of her were whenever I was having a bad day at work because we were not performing well, I would get a box of Hostess Chocolate Cupcakes to remind me that life is not all that bad when you have a chocolate cupcake.

The other memory was when we played a practical joke on the team.  We had a management meeting, and She and I argued really loudly behind closed doors.  People thought oh Heck, what is going on?  We then stuck our heads out and said April Fools. LOL

She lost her battle with Cancer as she was retiring!

In Memory of

Michael Nohrden

Michael was a co-worker with me at UPS Teleservices.  When I became a supervisor there, he took me under his wing and showed me what was expected. I probably would not have stayed without his tutelage.

He did not survive his Lung Cancer Battle.
